Ugly Seasonal Sweater Soiree is a hilarious original holiday show celebrating all the treasured December traditions, music, and the delightfully bad fashion that goes along with it!
This one-of-a-kind holiday celebration is part concert, part comedy, and all-around festive fun. A live band and cast of singers take you through the soundtrack of the season - from White Christmas and Jingle Bell Rock to cheeky surprises like Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer and You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch. All stitched together with outrageous holiday tales and, of course, the ugliest sweaters you can find! It’s a joyful, laugh-out-loud night the whole family will love!
MEET THE PLAYWRIGHTS BILLY MCGUIGAN & KAITLYN RUDEEN
Billy McGuigan is an award-winning playwright, songwriter and performer based in Omaha, Nebraska. He began writing original professional shows while still in high school, launching a career that has taken his work to audiences across the country. His creations include Rave On! The Buddy Holly Experience and Yesterday and Today: The Interactive Beatles Experience, both nationally touring, record-breaking productions. A member of the Nebraska Music Hall of Fame, Billy continues to tour nationally, performing in his original shows while showcasing his own music. Kaitlyn Rudeen is an award winning playwright, director and actor from State College, Pennsylvania. Her passion for acting led to a passion for writing characters she would be proud to play herself someday. Oftentimes, showcasing voices who are often not on full display.
